"I'm scared, Aidan," Gertrude mutters, choked up.


"You need not be scared," his soothing tone surrounds her. "I am here."


Gertrude takes a deep breath, and looks up at her companion, resolute, but kindly.


"You must go, Aidan," she says, sternly. "Please."


Aidan's lip quivers, as if he is able to feel emotions. The misty background behind him stirs, like clouds gathering for a storm.


"I won't," he replies, defyingly.


Gertrude holds her breath. He is not supposed to defy instructions.

Option A: "You're scared too, aren't you?," she asks in an endearing tone.

Option B: "I gave you an instruction."
