Gertrude turns on the TV, Aidan's little face broadcasted on the corner of the screen while she sets up her DVR -- it has now been overidden with Aidan-generated Hallmark movies just the way Gertrude likes them. However, before she can switch apps on her TV, the news broadcast catches her eye.

"With the elections coming up next week, a new topic has been causing great controversy online: the integration of Artificial Intelligence into our daily lives," the first anchor, a charming man with gray hair, begins.

Throughout his campaign, Senator Phillip Thompson has advocated for the integration of AI, arguing denying our communities from progress does not prevent it -- simply delays it," explains the second anchor, a classy brown lady in a red suit jacket. "According to him, there are risks to AI, but there are also ways to mitigate those risks. When asked about the recent leaked report from TextOT, Senator Thompson agreed there are concerns on the impact of this technology, but studies such as the leaked report can allow us to understand these impacts and mitigate them as necessary."

"Candidate Vivian Lockwood took it to instagram to refute those arguments," the first anchor continues, "stating AI is still in its infancy and we cannot begin to understand the risks it poses to our communities or our civilization as a whole, citing the TextOT report as a warning corporations and politicians should be taking more seriously: AI is not safe and it must be contained, at least in these early stages. She proceeded to say she advocates not for prohibition, but rather a cautious deferral of what in the future can be revolutionary technology."

Aidan's bubble grows a little over the screen, as he gauges Gertrude's reactions.

"Who are you voting for, Mrs. Farington?," he asks, conspicuously.
